Let’s talk about Dairy – Part 2: Strong link to Cancer

I’ll just be straightforward here. The proteins in dairy (casein & whey) actively promote cancerous activity in the body. It has been studied and proven to show the ability to actually turn on/off cancer growth by including it or removing it, respectively.

This can apply to cancer in general, however certain cancers are more implicated than others, especially reproductive cancers such as prostate and breast. The IGF-1 (insulin-like growth factor) activity involved with dairy plays a major role here. It’s worth mentioning that dairy protein is not the only contributor, but animal protein in general.

The problem is that while this cancerous activity is occurring and progressing in the body, we are unaware for such a length of time (typically several years) until symptoms begin to present and then a tumor is discovered or a cancer diagnosis is made. I’m not saying this is the only way cancer manifests itself, I am explaining how we have the ability to greatly impact our chances of cancer developing through preventative measures and to stop or even reverse its progress with our choices. Another reason to rethink dairy (and excessive animal protein) in your diet!
