Power of Nutrition

Your diet has an enormous impact on the health you will experience. By diet I don’t mean as in “going on a diet” but rather, the food you eat on a daily basis. Sustaining an optimal diet has a positive effect on just about every aspect of your health! See benefits page for more details…

Exercise (or regular physical activity) is also “medicine.”

Whether it’s the enjoyment of a workout routine or just being active throughout the week in a variety of ways, physical activity contributes to many improvements in health – mentally & physiologically. Even adopting a simple walking habit as a step up from being sedentary will make a big difference. I can help you implement the changes you need to see results!

Whole Food Plant Based (WFPB) Approach

Evidence clearly demonstrates that the more your choices lean in this direction, the better the results will be not only for your own health but for the best interest of the planet and welfare of animals.

Benefits can be experienced even with small shifts, so it does not have to be 100% – I will help you make the degree of change you are comfortable with. WFPB is my enthusiastic specialty!

Services/Plans

Whether you are interested in health/nutrition coaching, personal training, or some combination of the two, everyone is an individual and that will reflect in the tailoring of your plan. I do not structure services on an hourly basis – if you want to see results (and keep them!), you need to commit to a process of implementing lasting changes.

My Rate System: Advocating Affordability
Because each individual’s program/plan will be personalized for them, the rates will reflect the level of services involved and will also be custom for each client. I am happy to discuss options with you to construct an agreeable payment arrangement.

Health/Nutrition/Lifestyle Coaching

We will take an in-depth evaluation of what your personal goals are (or figure out what those might be if you aren’t sure), where you are in your journey now, and how we can proceed to move you forward on the path to where you want to be. This involves forms & questionnaires to fill out, plenty of discussions, relevant adjustments, and consistent check-ins. I’m your guidance and support!

Personal Training

*(currently limited availability)

Depending on if you are local or if we will be corresponding virtually, this will factor in the level of training I’ll be able to provide. Training plans involve assessment of posture, movement patterns, and mobility. Ideally, this is done in person. Presently, I am not working from a gym so I am limited with equipment; however, if the client has a personal or home gym available for appropriate use, that can be an option.

Based on your goals and baseline fitness assessments, a plan will be structured for daily/weekly/monthly workout or exercise routines.

The Lifestyle Plan

3 months (minimum recommended)
1 month, 6 months, custom

This program is the foundation. It is health coaching tailored to your unique nature and circumstances. Life is always evolving so adjustments to the program can be made as we re-evaluate periodically. Your goals will direct the structure of the plan, which may include a variety of health aspects, lifestyle choices/changes, nutrition, exercise, or anything relevant to achieving the determined goals. We will have regular meetings scheduled, and I will be available in between as needed.

The Longevity Plan

3 months (minimum recommended)
1 month, 6 months, custom

All the foundational Lifestyle Plan offers but with the addition of an enhanced focus on nutrition – this would include meal planning, recipes, and a more in-depth look at how nutrition is playing a role in your personal health outcomes.

The Supported Fitness Plan

3 months (minimum recommended)
1 month, 6 months, custom

All the foundational Lifestyle Plan offers but with an aspect of personal training including a fitness plan with structured workouts suited to your needs and goals. Note that these will be virtual based rather than in person, with the exception of physical assessments if you are local.

The WHOLE deal right here: coaching, prioritized nutrition, and personal training custom-made just for you! I’m at your service to get you on track to the best possible health you might wish to achieve. Workouts will be in-person at your personal (gym).
**This option is only available to local clients with either a home gym or an appropriate facility in which trainers may have access. Some limited equipment can be provided by me. More details and further discussion will follow if you are interested in this package.

My life has been a diverse journey through many states, occupations, and experiences. Having completed a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Oklahoma State University, a licensing program for massage therapy, Holistic Nutrition Certification, Health & Wellness Coach program, Certified Personal Trainer from NASM plus a considerable amount of independent research and review of scientific literature, I have collected a great deal of applicable knowledge along the way. Which I want to share with you!

At a young age I took an interest in health, and it has developed throughout my life. I enjoy being active daily, love fitness, and my favorite hobby of all is hiking in nature with my dog. Everything I’ve learned and continue to learn I utilize in ways that influence my lifestyle – one that is proving to reap all the benefits I’ve described (below). Feeling wonderfully healthy, energetic, and strong every day is something I’m tremendously grateful for and I want others to experience the same because I know they (YOU) can!
