Getting enough exercise should be easy!

The Dept of Health & Human Services’ Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans recommends at least 𝟭𝟱𝟬 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 of moderate intensity activity per week for adults.

Let’s elaborate a little. This is only 30 min for 5 days of the week. Or just over 21 min every day. It doesn’t have to be all at once either. Moderate intensity is as simple as 𝑏𝘳𝑖𝘴𝑘 𝑤𝘢𝑙𝘬𝑖𝘯𝑔 or even gardening. That’s totally achievable right?!

However, only about a q͟u͟a͟r͟t͟e͟r͟ of adults meet this. ☹️ (It’s even worse for adolescents at about 1 in 5 meeting their recommendation of 60 min each day.)

Any step up from sedentary is an improvement that your body will thank you for. 𝑰𝒕 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍𝒔 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒎𝒐𝒗𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒅𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒊𝒕!
