This is an example of a favorite breakfast I make: warmed in the toaster oven – a light spread of nut or seed butter, homemade apple/pear sauce & butternut squash (sweet potato is a favorite too) + BERRIES (always have berries every day), and grapes on thin sliced whole grain bread!

Never needed a regular toaster after I started doing this. Other variations include avocado, any kind of fruit, cinnamon/spices, pumpkin, Miyoko’s brand cashew cream cheese, soft prunes that smear, or honey. Also, instead of bread try rice cakes or tortillas, but watch the timing depending on how toasty your preferences may be.
